Nate Wallace: My wife and I moved to Colorado in 1983 and to Grand Junction in 2000 with our three daughters. We enjoy the activities here and have enjoyed raising our family here. I really enjoy doing business on the Western Slope of Colorado where we get to know our customers and business is done face to face. Thank you to all of our customers and employees who have supported CommWest for the last 10 years! We are looking forward to another 10.
Kathy McCarney: I am a Grand Junction transplant, having been born and raised in St. Louis, MO. I have been in the telecom industry since 2007. I am a St. Louis Cardinal fan, a fair-weathered Rockies supporter. My husband and I have been married for 14 years and have a thirteen-year-old dog who is going through her second childhood. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, biking, reading and being humiliated by the fish that I am unable to catch.
Hi! My name is Sue Crim and I have worked at CommWest for 6 years in Accounting and Admin. I started here following my first career as stay at home mom. Working at CommWest has been very fulfilling and I thoroughly enjoyed working with everyone here. My husband Allen and I have both grown up in Grand Junction, have two children and a variety of pets. I enjoy a number of activities including painting, taking photos and playing in the Centennial Band.
Craig Campbell: Grand Junction is my new Western Slope home. After living in the Vail area for 20 years, my wife, son and I wanted to move out of the snow and ended up in Montrose. I started in IT in 1999 helping to prepare for Y2K at the Vail Valley Medical Center. I’ve worked for a regional ISP in Montrose and really enjoy tackling the more thorny problems relating to computers and data networks. My wife and I are enjoying the bike trails in Grand Junction and all the new eateries. We also enjoy camping, fishing and cooking of all sorts. Every so often we brew a batch of beer. My 15 minutes of fame actually stretched on for 15 years. I am one of the founding members of the Vail Precision Lawnchair Demonstration Team - which has represented the State of Colorado at two Presidential inaugurations. I’m officially retired from that nonsense, but treasure all the fun and good memories. Who knows, I may just dust off that old chair and march in one more parade!
Chris Tesch: I began in telecommunications in Grand Junction in 1992, making my way from sales to technical support where I found my niche. I currently reside in Montrose. You may first meet me as the voice on the other end of the line. I spend much of my weekend time in the mountains hiking or cross country skiing. I enjoy all the seasons and elevations that bring variety to Colorado.
Rebecca Wallace: I was born and raised in Colorado, although not a Grand Junction native I did graduate from Fruita Monument High School. Before coming to CommWest I went to college in Arizona where I received a B.A in Business. I put my hard work to use in the Banking world. I left banking to follow my dream to travel and I went to China where I taught English to college undergrads and post grads for 2 years. I fell in love with the diverse culture, the exquisite food, and the hospitable people. I have once again returned to the Grand Valley and am putting my degree back to work at CommWest! My free time is filled with enjoying the outdoors, watching movies, and staying involved with the community as well as with my church.
Ken Hill: I moved to Grand Junction in January of 1973 to work at an electronics manufacturer as an engineer. I started in the telephone business in 1979 and have been in the industry ever since. I have been at CommWest for 5 years. When not working I spend a lot of time on my motorcycle or playing guitar in a local group.
Christopher Piquette: I was born in Colorado, but my family moved to Wisconsin where I grew up. I went to college in Minnesota where I received a degree in Recreation, Parks and Leisure Services. I moved to Grand Junction this past May after graduation to complete an internship, but more importantly to marry my wife. I recently started at CommWest as the new service technician. In my free time I love to go snowboarding, cross-country skiing, play soccer, and have a new found passion for mountain biking.
Caleb Orellana: I have lived in the Grand Valley my entire life, which is not very long. Just started working here at CommWest and enjoying it very much, also learning a lot. I am currently attending school at CMU studying computer networking.
